In 2010, Karuga and Anguwan Bagudu communities were highly engaged in open defecation and generally unhygienic environment until the intervention by the academic staff of National Water Resources Institute, Kaduna under the leadership of the CLTS desk officer under the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Centre. the communities were triggered and 16 and 12 household latrines were constructed in Karuga and Anguwan Bagudu respectively.
As at March, 2011, open defecation became a thing of the past as all the households in the two communites have stopped defecating in the open and have also constructed househol latrines for use by all community members.

My impression of Web 2.0 training in Zaria
Firstly, I percieve that I won't really need the training since I thought I knew much about internet and web activity. But to my surprise after the 1st 2 days I realised that I do not know that much. Now the Web 2.0 training has enhanced my skill in internet and web utilization. It has also made me to know how to serach for materials in google.
